Alpengold "Texas Oak Reserve" Williams Pear Brandy is a unique composition of Edelbrand and Oak, made by only a few in the US and the only one made in Texas. Our Texas Oak Reserves start out as one of our premium award winning Edelbrands made only from whole fresh pears. By mashing the entire pears - not just the juice or by way of maceration (soaking) - the entire taste sensation of the fruit pallet is completely covered. At this point it is laid to rest with American White Oak until it reaches perfection. The resulting Texas Oak Reserve reminds of the precious taste of a smooth Single Malt Scotch without the peat yet with a subtle hint of fresh pears romanced by a smoky hint of Oak at the finish.
